The Watercooled Surflite Surfboard is a PVC sandwich construction, hand finished to produce a high quality, highly durable, lighter, and stronger, high performance surfboard. The Surflite construction uses the latest technology in a sandwich construction with a lightweight EPS core which has a very strong high density PVC sheet foam laminated to it as an outer skin. A further lamination is then applied over the top of this to create a high strength, lightweight board. Lamination is done using epoxy resins which have better structural integrity than polyester resins. A considerable amount of handwork is required in this process, especially after the main core is constructed.
